Our Philosophy

 

Franklin Court was founded and designed to provide assisted living for low and moderate-income elders and also for the individuals who require personal assistance in Bristol and neighboring communities.  

 

It is the philosophy of Franklin Court Assisted Living to provide an environment where each resident has the opportunity to maximize their independence through the availability of appropriate supportive services.  The emphasis at Franklin Court will be to provide each resident opportunity for choice, personalized service, privacy, dignity, independence, a secure living environment, and stimulating social interaction.

The mission of Franklin Court Assisted Living is to serve our Residents with the utmost care, respect, and dignity while preserving their independence.  This is also true of our coworkers, family members, vendors and visitors.

Our Assisted Living Commuity

Franklin Court Assisted Living provides a wide array of

all-inclusive services and amenities such as:

  • Private apartments (studio & one Bedroom) 

  • All apartments have kitchenettes, private bathroom with step-in shower and large windows for plenty of natural light

  • Apartments are wired for cable television, telephone and internet service 

  • Warm spacious common areas including a sunroom, library, cafe, country store, arts & crafts room and media room

  • Computer with internet access

  • Complimentary laundry facilities 

  • Enclosed open-air courtyard featuring lovely landscaping, walking paths & a patio for barbecues 

  • Full service dining three times a day

  • Medication Management

  • Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming

  • Weekly Housekeeping 

  • Help coordinating transportation to doctor’s appointments

Activities

Franklin Court offers a variety of comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces that enhance opportunities for residents to participate in group activities and entertain family and friends. Activities and events may include:

  • A variety of activities and outings both on site and off site including visiting speakers and musicians, book club, bingo and more

  • Puzzles, games, & clubs

  • Shopping

  • Manicures

  • East Bay Community Room for large gatherings, social events & live performances

  • Charming Mt. Hope Cafe and Game Room offering a wide selection of card and board games

  • Arts and Crafts Activities Room

  • Media Room with surround sound and recliner chairs

*Completed applications and associated documents can be submitted at the Franklin Court Assisted Living Front Desk, at 180 Franklin St., Bristol RI; weekdays from 8 AM to 8 PM and weekends from 9 AM to 7 PM or they can be faxed to 401-253-5855.
